Clippers Rally from 19-Point Deficit to Avoid 3-0 Hole

Los Angeles - The LA Clippers rallied from a 19-point deficit to defeat the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 of their first-round series on Tuesday night at the Staples Center.
The Clippers were led by Kawhi Leonard, who scored a game-high 29 points. Paul George added 22 points, and Marcus Morris Sr. contributed 19 points off the bench.
The Mavericks were led by Luka Dončić, who scored 26 points. Kristaps Porziņģis added 22 points, and Tim Hardaway Jr. contributed 18 points.
The Clippers outshot the Mavericks from the field (47.5% to 40.7%) and from three-point range (45.5% to 30.3%). The Clippers also outrebounded the Mavericks 51-39.
The Mavericks led by 19 points in the third quarter, but the Clippers rallied to take the lead in the fourth quarter. The Clippers outscored the Mavericks 33-19 in the fourth quarter.
The win gives the Clippers a 2-1 lead in the series. The two teams will face off again in Game 4 on Thursday night at the Staples Center.
